Romulus, a soldier, and Silvanus, a deacon, stood firm in their faith during the reign of Emperor Diocletian. Ordered to offer sacrifices to pagan idols, they refused, declaring their unwavering allegiance to Christ. For their steadfastness, they were subjected to brutal tortures, enduring floggings and burnings. Unshaken, they praised God, converting many who witnessed their suffering. Ultimately, they were beheaded, becoming martyrs for the Christian faith.
