Hieromartyr Evangelicus of Tomis, a beacon of faith in the face of Roman persecution, met his martyrdom in the 3rd century. Accused of converting pagans to Christianity, he refused to renounce his belief in Jesus Christ. Evangelicus was subjected to cruel torture, yet his spirit remained unbroken. He was ultimately beheaded for his unwavering commitment to God. May his sacrifice inspire us to stand firm in our faith, even when faced with adversity. Let us pray for his intercession, that we may be granted the strength to live according to God's will.
