We are admonished by the Scriptures to number our days and contemplate our mortality. When we do, we realize how short our lives really are. We are but a passing shadow, a mist, or a fading flower. Yet our minds are made for eternity, which suggests our bodies should be, too. Thanks to Jesus, physical death is temporary. Our eyes will see him forever! Our ears will hear him forever!
