The study of philosophy is like checking old blocks from the past to see if they are still valid today. Our human protocol is a long saga in an attempt through consensus to maintain what is valuable. Philosophers were like the original HODLs of our past. Trying to mine the truth, chaining it together through time.
We are still trying to mint it, but most of it has already been done. Hence the reason to study the past which then resonates deeply once you discover how much truth it still holds today.
