I fired this gun.
While it's light and accurate the .22 LR is inherently less reliable than center-fire cartridges due to rimfire ignition and inconsistent powder charges, especially in bulk ammo. Using high-quality ammunition significantly improves reliability. Also, the small slide and light recoil spring make it somewhat vulnerable to fouling and dry firing a .22 LR without snap caps can damage the firing pin or chamber face.
Conclusion: Not a duty weapon. While reasonably reliable for a rimfire, it's not a substitute for a center-fire carry gun in a life-or-death situation.
