AI only seems to reinforce all of the negative aspects of centralized social platforms
All I see are the same attention whores, the same click bait bullshit, the same games being played but at 1000x
Right now youtube is full of "learn five prompts", "you have five years to live" nonsense that only proves it is being used to further the same problematic aspects of online culture
The internet is or will soon be very dead
Cathie Wood just did an interview and when asked what is the job creation rate vs. the destruction rate her response was, " well vibe coding is really taking off."
What the fuck? Are we really right back to "learn to code" as the answer for all the job destruction?
There seems to be a few way points here. First is the influencers can create millions more pieces of content and leverage it against normie consumers.
Then once the AI can just churn out content for $ why fo they need a prompter. The platform itself can just churn out content, for the other AI to consume?
At a certain point I don't understand who the final customer is. How does a 50% unemployed populace purchase a sub for an AI?
How exactly does the data centers and electricity get paid for when no one buys a sub because they are all fighting over scraps in the gutter?
The end of this just seems like two AI robots jerking eachother off for credits to jerk eachother off.
All these AI think bois sound so gay and naive that it comes across as a giant scam marketing ploy.
