Its a serious ethical problem. There is billions to be made in Africa on rare earth metals.
But its not the rare earth metals themselves.
We have them, Russia has them, China has them.
The money to be made is with cheap labor and zero regulations.
China is willing to exploit that to the max.
The west, with its long history of colonialism, cannot do the same with massive protest back home.
Chinese on the other hand, will all watch this, laugh, and ask how they too can make money off the backs of poor africans.
