the biggest problem is nobody's taking the approach where the business should be getting cashflow as soon as possible after MVP
opensats and HRF don't require a business plan, let alone demand that devs start to have cashflow within a year
VC projects like primal are still on the runway, and are barely any better than any of the lone wolf grantees.
it's not actually that hard to find ways to get cashflow. there is examples to follow in this ecosystem:

between these 4 guys projects are the only functioning businesses in the nostr ecosystem. they are making enough cash flow to not be depending on investment or grant money.
