I was saved the fate you describe so well when I failed my Chance to go to university. A completely different path opened up. I followed my passion for painting and clocked Up experiences and insights that simply couldnt happen had I followed the route into a system where predictability and head down prevails.
It is getting ever clearer that we all end Up in a box and when the time comes we all leave this place with the posessions we were born with. It's silly to not realise and acknowledge that along the way. Strive but don't get attached, especially to shiny objects.
