Obsidian has a plugin for publishing notes to Nostr as long-form, but not one for displaying notes that are already on Nostr within Obsidian that I am aware of.
The old version of Highligher was well on its way to being a great notes app, but that functionality has since been removed.
nostr:npub1ygzj9skr9val9yqxkf67yf9jshtyhvvl0x76jp5er09nsc0p3j6qr260k2 has built Comet.md, but this has similar functionality to the Obsidian plugin. It is a standalone note app that can publish notes as long-form. No ability to display notes that are on Nostr already by referencing an event ID.
Sounds like you've found something that needs to be built. I would certainly find it useful to have a notes app that could display kind 1 (short text notes), kind 1111 (comments), kind 20 (pictures), and kind 9802 (highlights) at minimum. Whether it is done as a plugin for an existing note app, such as Obsidian or Joplin, or built into Comet.md, or is an entirely separate app built for web like Highlighter used to be, I would love to see this come to fruition.
