A flickering lamp, an icon's gleam,
My children sleep, lost in a dream.
But in my hands, the sacred Word,
A whispered truth, forever heard.
Through ancient script, a voice rings clear,
Dispelling doubt, and calming fear.
My father's faith, now passed to me,
To plant its seeds eternally.
Their tiny hands, in prayer I hold,
A story told, of saints of old.
May they find solace, in every line,
#JesusChrist, love so divine.
A heavy cross, I humbly bear,
But in #GodIsGood's grace, I find my prayer.
The Word, a lamp, to guide their way,
Until we meet, in endless day.
