It could just mean you have skill to learn, be curious, memorize, understand things you read, analyze them, criticize them, explain them to other and add you point of view. It is not about smart, but having some skills. And it is a good think people have different skills. Being all the same, would be boring and would not produce any debate and humanity couldn't progress or change. Thanks for this vision.
