The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) overtook the United States for China's Exports during 2022 as the COVID era was waning. The United States is still a significant export destination for China, but not nearly as important as it once was. The United States depends far more on China then the other way around, and the tariffs imposed on imports from China are draconian, tyrannical and will lead to supply shortages in the coming months.
