It's nothing like Covid and Russiagate simply because no-one who disagrees is being persecuted in any way. You're completely free to run shitty alternatives to Bitcoin Core if you want to.
But yes, plenty of us are quietly making a list, and it's a list of those who have followed Mechanic on his egotistical jihad and, like him, trashed whatever cred they had in the Bitcoin world.
He's just the latest in a long list of noisy Bitcoiners who have blown themselves up. And he won't be the last. Bitcoin endures.
