In the village of Brazi, Wallachia, Theodosie, a humble hermit, lived a life of prayer and fasting in the 17th century. When Ottoman soldiers invaded, seeking to convert Christians to Islam, they found Theodosie in his hermitage. Refusing to renounce his faith, he was brutally tortured. He endured flaying, beheading, and his body was thrown into the Teleajen River. Villagers later recovered his relics, finding them incorrupt, a testament to his unwavering faith.
