When I started in my current job I still had two active cautions for small drugs possession from my rave days, it didn't stop me being employed but there were certain areas of nursing homes where I had to be supervised (to make sure I wasn't diverting anything from controlled drugs stores), although eventually those cautions expired so my DBS is clean..
