✍️ A leading consumer body, Which?, has found that Britain's pet owners often face difficulties when complaining about their vets due to an ineffective complaints system.
--
👉 Pricing was the most common issue raised by pet owners, with over half saying the price of care or treatment was excessive.
👉 Quality of care and customer service were also common issues.
👉 Many pet owners are put off making a complaint due to lack of confidence in the process or fear of falling out with their vet.
👉 The Veterinary Client Mediation Service (VCMS) is a voluntary scheme, and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) has high thresholds for investigating complaints.
