Pleased to report Tractor Supply Company (TSC) still sells supplies for tractors. They're hard to find, the employees are basically useless as a knowledge source, and in my case it took a trip to three different stores to find everything but they had it. NGL, of all the places I thought might be helpful in getting this extension hose kit to work with my tractor, TSC was at the bottom of my list. But when even the old guys at the co-op and a local Kubota dealer couldn't help me, I got desperate.
If I account for my time and vehicle wear, I've got well over $400 in what was supposed to be a $140 kit which everyone (even Deere's own website) assured me should fit my tractor.
Moral of the story: even if you're the original owner of the equipment, don't assume that the dealer didn't install some non-standard parts in a rush-job to mate the tractor with your chosen attachment, especially if you're gonna buy parts from a website with weak customer support. Save yourself the aggravation and use local suppliers.
Also, shout out to AvE on YT whose random video on hydraulic fittings saved me from making some (potentially deadly) mistakes.
