I think most nostriches are already digital signature experts, but most people don't even know what the phrase digital signature is and they store the only password they own on a Post-It note underneath their keyboard.
NIP 6 mnemonic abatracts much of this complexity away.
It also makes nostr like a speak-easy on the Internet. Anybody Is allowed to enter this speak-easy, but only you can create the secret, 12 word passphrase.
I like the idea of nostr being a sort of secret, open, speak-easy on the Internet. I think that's easier to sell than copy this nsec1w...blah..blah...blah onto a sheet of paper...
