Thinking about novel ways to publish a novel...
I'm done with Amazon, algortihms and traditional publishers.
What about a crowd funded campaign?
Limited number of copies (e.g. 21).
Online book clubs to discuss (I could attend). Each copy signed with a personal message.
Beatuiful design w. Hardcover and illustrations.
Possible audiobook release too.
Maybe it's time to focus on publishing quality and delivering value. Would be an honour for 21 people to read it.
(The book is a magical realism folk tale about islands, set around 1400 in a parallel world).
