So that's a thing. Sold our rental property, and instantly lost almost $40,000 in fees alone - Lawyer Fees; "Professional" Fees; Realtor Fees; Transaction Fees; Bank Fees; Early Repayment Fees; Processing Fees... The list is endless. That doesn't even include taxes.
People wonder why it's so difficult to escape the system - this is why.
#homesteading will have to wait another 2-4 years, while we work to make up the difference in cash.
I hate how greedy banks, companies and "professionals", all stick their hand in the pie, and take a handful.
I would literally be better off financially, if I quit work and lived on government hand outs.
