When soldiers demanded he reveal the location of sacred icons hidden to protect them from desecration, Theodosie refused. Despite brutal torture, he remained steadfast in his faith. The soldiers, enraged by his unwavering resolve, eventually beheaded him. It is said that a spring of holy water appeared at the site of his martyrdom, a testament to his purity and sacrifice.
