I want bitcoin to be useful. that's it. I build more apps to try and make it more useful in more situations. and no, I want as many people to need it and to understand it as possible.
Bitcoin is a solution to a problem, and if the user does not have the problem or is not interested in learning about the problem they have. then I won't shill them the solution.
The discussions I've heard about changing the meaning of "bitcoin" all involve the advocate telling stories about how some people they talked too didn't get into bitcoin because they where too dumb or uninterested to understand. I really don't like this mentality of dubbing things down because "the user is stupid"
