Dasius, a Roman soldier during Emperor Diocletian's reign, was chosen by lot to play a pagan role in the festival of Saturnalia in 303 AD. A devout #Christian, Dasius refused to participate in the sacrilegious acts, declaring his faith in Christ. His unwavering conviction led to his martyrdom by beheading.
