Enya, the Irish singer known as the queen of New Age music, lives a very private life in her own castle.

Her full name is Eithne Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin, but she is widely known by her stage name, Enya. Her home, Manderley Castle, is a Victorian-style mansion in Killiney, near Dublin. The castle is so remote that it can only be reached by helicopter. Worth 4 million euros, the property is just a small part of her fortune, which is over 100 million euros, making her one of Ireland’s wealthiest people.
Now 63, Enya has never married or had children. She lives a quiet life with her cats and the staff who help manage her home. She has stayed out of the public eye for over eight years, preferring to stay away from the spotlight.
Enya started her music career in 1979 with her family’s band, Clannad, before going solo. She has released eight albums, selling more than 80 million copies worldwide. Despite her huge success, she has never performed live in concert. She is Ireland’s best-selling solo artist and the country’s second-biggest music export, after U2. Her unique sound and mysterious lifestyle have made her a fascinating figure in the music world.
