Pahomie of Gledin, after years of monastic life, was chosen as bishop. He led his flock with wisdom, but turbulent times tested his faith. When invaders threatened, he refused to abandon his people, offering them spiritual guidance and courage. He was captured, tortured for his faith, and eventually martyred, becoming a symbol of resistance and unwavering devotion.
