I thought about it, you might remember discussing it here some time. You accurately said that this would make the rug completely individual dependent, bespoke.
I have yet to come to further conclusions, imagine though someone finding a rug decades, or even a century later, and, assuming the code standard survives, could obtain anything from a text message to a public key to remote, online resources. The technologies could disappear before the rug, I think concept like QR encoding BECH32 addresses have more longevity than other formats.
