If I can buy something I like, I'll buy it, so long as I can actually pay for it. But if I can't, due to some issue (like one I'm having with my local courier where they won't let anything pass), then I'll just pirate it. 😄 The reality is, a lot of franchises wouldn't even be known, let alone cherished, in many nations if it weren't for piracy. Devs and executives should celebrate that, and stop wasting resources on fighting it. I completely agree that piracy is a defense against anti-consumer practices.
