Reflections after seeing our son for the first time:
He moves way more than I can feel.
He's adorable!!! 🥰😭
God is really doing a great job knitting him together in my womb.
I can trust myself when I hear from God.
I can trust God with our son!
It's 2025, and most people still get a black and white first photo of themselves 🤣
Ultrasounds are way more intense than I realized.
I knew there was a baby in my belly, but, THERE'S A BABY IN MY BELLY!!! 🤯🥰🥳
I also learned that the heart has 4 chambers where some of the valves are currently open as the baby gets oxygen from the umbilical cord. And those valves close after the baby is born and it starts taking breaths of air, allowing the lungs to supply oxygen instead.
He's only just over halfway done in there, but already looks fully formed!
He is a separate being from me!
The saying, "grow a pair", well, I can say I have done that now 😇🤣🤣🤣
I love my husband, and I love our son, and I'm so excited to see them together 🤗
