HOLY SHIT! I had the best experience yesterday while kiting on the hill. One of my Bald Eagles flew over me then out into the valley where it spun circles in FOUR OF ITS REGULAR LIFT LOCATIONS!!! Each time it flapped its wings showing it had not found lift and moved on to the next spot. After the fourth location it tried and found nothing it just went right back to their nest. I now know exactly where to look for thermal and ridge lift thanks to that display.
