2023-08-01 15:37:42I don't think it's just a French thing. Sometimes, the British committed some of the worst imaginable atrocities, and Churchill laughed at those with racist phrases. Every powerful country was doing it, but of course that doesn't make it right. I try not to judge history by current standards, recognizing that humans have done some very awful things in the past and within their own civilizations.
