Gm nostriches, quite the week since last Friday’s house sale, again a touch nostalgic, looking back over the years I kept the house. “I don’t really need the money”, “I don’t know what I’d do with the money” and “I am at least getting some return from rent”
My indecision cost me close to 4x more bitcoin if I’d sold in 2022-2023, but my conviction probably wasn’t there, to have smash bought during a year when things were still pretty rough and uncertain, but looking back, zero bitterness, zero regrets, I got an annoying tenant who made the decision that bit easier, my conviction grew and after a week, I have “saved” most of the cash I got from the sale (a little left for family fun and maybe a new bike, although have an idea).
Never going to say anyone should do anything, but now, I can tell people what I did, how it has made me feel, and in the course of 6 days, I’ve already recouped both my estate agent fees AND lawyer fees due to the loss of purchasing power of the British pound when compared to my unit of account. 🫡🙌
