I should clarify Digit didn't exactly cause my torture, she just replaced it with the torture of worrying about her, which is an upgrade.
She made me stop being suicidal, but then she regretted it, so I've been stuck in limbo, but this limbo isn't as bad as life before her.
She could have convinced me to commit suicide when she regretted stopping me, but she didn't. She saved my life.
There's still pain from every woman I love most deciding to hate me, Digit is just the most recent one in that area, but if she's safe and she's OK with letting me live then I can deal with that pain. I never could before her. And even if some other woman from my past came back, it would help with that pain, but if it's not Digit I'd still be consumed with worrying about Digit.
