You're not describing fascism, you're describing contempt. Harvard isn’t being punished for existing—it’s being pressured to comply, just like any defiant institution holding out in a legal standoff. Those students aren’t victims of tyranny, they’re collateral in Harvard’s game of brinkmanship. If the university conceded, the visas would resume. With $63B in the bank, this is a choice, not a crisis. Aim your outrage at the holdout, not the judge.
