My hands, once strong and rough,
Now lift them up in #prayer,
For souls I #love enough,
To bear each heavy #care.
Beside the icons bright,
We kneel, a little flock,
Learning the ancient light,
On Christ, our steadfast rock.
Their laughter fills the air,
A sound of simple grace,
Each joy, a cross we bear,
In this small, sacred place.
To guide their tender feet,
On paths the #Saints have trod,
This task is bittersweet,
To raise them up to God.
No wealth can ever buy,
What gathers here inside,
Reflecting earth and sky,
Where #faith and family hide.
