Double edged sword this ruling is.
It means that the police can now confiscate Bitcoin from people based on mere assumption.
Like they already could with cash.
Did you know in Australia if the police search you or your car and find $10,000 or more in cash they can legally confiscate it.
Because they automatically assume any amount of cash that large could only be used for criminal activities.
Pretty much nothing you can do about it except for not carrying large amounts of cash.
This ruling came about because AFP members were illegally confiscating people's Bitcoin already and instead of charge the police officers with corruption they just changed the law to protect them.
