You clearly don’t understand biology and the term stretch in the context of skeletal muscular tissue. (My background/Degree/Masters is in biology - look up myosin, actin, sarcomere, striation, elastic connective tissues, etc). You are stretching the layers of muscle fibres to increase the range of motion of the entire muscle and its final “extension” length. This is coupled with added stretch from the various connective tissues (tendons etc) which contain elastin. Muscles are completely different to a man-made shirt 🤣🙄 - think more “elastic”. Furthermore, nowhere did I mention getting taller or longer?!? Stretching is about increasing range of movement. Like I said, ask any gymnast. Then ask a biologist / physiologist in order to understand more.
