Certainly, funding of the development has always been an after-though for #Bitcoin. This model has its pros and cons. The way most other #crypto projects have attempted to remedy this challenge is through premines which create inherently centralized development structures. That said, for the most part, Bitcoin’s development had become very centralized. There is still room for some alternatives to emerge as we see with the current debate, which in itself is a healthy sign that Core’s influence isn’t invulnerable.
