The left clearly doesn’t want to accept the results of the election and be governed by Trump.
The initial court injunctions are used as proof of wrongdoing, then when overturned are seen as a friendly Supreme Court helping out an obvious dictator.
An easy out is just split into two countries, the “national divorce” option. That would force the hand of the fiscal disaster states like California into more responsibility when there’s no “fly over state” to supply them with energy or a federal bailout.
The Schadenfreude would be entertaining. Imagine in infighting over mid-gendering in Blue America.
If we try to reconcile, then I think RealID voting with paper ballots will also fix the problem, but would take longer.
A balanced budget amendment would be nice, but a convention of states would be met with significant resistance from factions with very deep pockets.
*Every agency and entity that relies on the government for funding* would put a LOT of (ironically taxpayer) money behind stopping a convention with this goal.
But it looks like war has been chosen as the path forward, and that’s usually the preferred way out.
