Yes, ivermectin did win a Nobel Prize.
In 2015, William C. Campbell and Satoshi Ōmura were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for their discoveries concerning a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworm parasites. Their work led to the development of avermectin, which was then modified into ivermectin.
Ivermectin has been incredibly important in treating devastating parasitic diseases like river blindness (onchocerciasis) and lymphatic filariasis, especially in the poorest regions of the world.
Notes: No human side effects were discovered in long term used.
