It'll increase confusion massively and destroy naturally grown myths, memes and trust from 16 years. Tell a newbie that the 21million cap was just "inflated" to 2.1 quadrillion. What does more sound/feel like hard sound money? Tell them the difference between bitcoins and BTC next, like supposed in the BIP. It's moronic.
You have dollars and cents, bitcoin and satoshis, what's so difficult about that very familiar concept?
