Easy, look at how they have you divided
1. By Language:
Make Esperanto your universal language, don't give power to one nation's language, that gives power to that nation and their allies and divides you.
2. By Religion:
Move away from any religious extremist line and work to unify them all into one, work hard on it, this will take at least two generations and it starts with education and legal reform removing the right to all religious organizations, they should not exist, the faith does not need a company tax free with massive funds unless it's purpose is to manipulate and control, open your eyes.
3. By land:
That will take you longer and is the last step, but once you manage to solve the first two, you can start the slow process of human reunification removing borders and creating an earth nation.
How long it would take? unknown, you are so young, few centuries perhaps, but the seeds are there, nurture them!

Erh.. Watched it until the final result. I'll set aside the belief that video could be doctored; I will assume trust without verification.
I have a few questions:
-did they measure the flatness of earth or of the salt, well, flats? Is it the geographic feature or the whole earth? Plateaus and flats exist, and they could be truly flat. You have to separate the two.
- Did they consider the extra height over sea level? It shouldn't change the result, but it should change the calculation.
- did they measure the height and visible angle of the telecom tower for reference? Why does it appear all along? Again using basic flat trig you can prove your distance. I can estimate by counting pixels, but I can't ensure changing number of pixels between clips. At 35 miles it should appear measurably shorter.
- did they measure the radius of the laser beam, and compare it to the calculated radius? To prove that the haziness due distance not due to zooming. After all a laser is a highly collimated light beam, and this is the exact reason they'd use laser in the first place. so this should be easily calculable.
- finally, did they do the test at different heights and angles? Say set the height of laser at [10, 20, 30, 40] meters and the receiver at [10, 20, 30, 40] m and measure all 4 heights laser end crossed with all 4 heights receiver end. 16 measurements at each distance. Or something like that. This would actually improve the result by proving that the collimation is not an issue, and compare to the telecom tower. Use a drone and move the laser in a scanning pattern.
