Se na minha feed só forem exibidos (sem embaçar) imagens e vídeos em posts e repostas de pessoas que sigo e de pessoas seguidas pelas que eu sigo, isso por si só já vai restringir uma parte ínfima do conteúdo da minha feed, e ao mesmo tempo já exclui a possibilidade de bots surgidos ontem estragarem o feed com imagens. Quanto às palavras, pra mim não incomoda tanto, mas aí é caso de se pensar noutra solução.

Não existe meio mais óbvio e eficaz de matar um protocolo de comunicação do que a propagação de pornografia e violência explícita sem qualquer possiblidade de filtro pelo destinatário do conteúdo, isto é, tornar o meio impróprio de ser visualizado em praticamente qualquer ambiente.
A questão não é censurar/banir/apagar alguém, mas criar mecanismos para que o próprio indivíduo melhor escolha o que vai aparecer no seu feed. E quem quiser, por valor de liberdade de expressão, consumir todo dia uns 20 cortes de pornô gay entre um e outro post razoável, que assim escolha.
Existe algum relay ou cliente em que eu possa, por ex, exibir automaticamente os conteúdos de mídia somente das pessoas que eu sigo ou de uma WOT, embaçando ou ocultando por padrão o das pessoas que não sigo ou não estão na WOT. Acho que um filtro desse já diminuiria uma parte considerável do problema, sem usar reports como censura.

Maybe. IMO those Intel agencies are quite active on nostr. Lots of influence ops here. I've suspected you, for example. Decided probably not.
There are other possibilities. A dev on nostr could want the platform to respond to real threats, and this may be a way to accelerate development. Perhaps a rethink of how we use relays is in order. Perhaps we need to develop on the "web of trust" idea, or move to an authentication standard. Doesn't it seem like the spam attacks have grown incrementally in annoyingness? Like someone is trying to get a response, and might be a little exasperated by us not hitting the solution they want. Idk. I see patterns.

Best and easiest way is to use a custodial wallet like Strike, River, Wallet of Satoshi. Once you have the hang of things with that consider moving to self custody options like Zeus, Phoenix.

I always knew that I wanted to get involved somehow.
Following that conference, I started dragging amore ( nostr:nprofile1qqs22v8h7adk97rqwvrcl5xcyvp9pryjw0kggmgeweh0g9qhawpqv3qpz4mhxue69uhk2er9dchxummnw3ezumrpdejqz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9e3h2unjv4h8gtnx095srkd0uv )around the globe attending conferences.
I had no agenda, just thought that attending/putting my energy towards these systems was the right move.
My only regret is not getting involved earlier.
So if you’re a closet maxi/lurker like I was for years, my unsolicited advice would be to get out there, find your tribe, and just show up. Something cool might come of it.

I think the first halvings were "supply shocks".
The sofar visible 4 year pattern was the result.
The next phase will probably be the "demand shock".
That phase will see way more demand than supply is willing to give.
Right now Strategy on it's own is buying more than all mining can provide...
All other demand has to be satisfied by holders.
Demand is only increasing but supply will not.
This basic principle (more demand than supply) can only mean higher prices.
For me the most realistic scenario is way more demand.
We only have a few companies (only one all in) and even less Governments tiptoeing into #Bitcoin.
The demand side is huge while the supply side is only getting smaller.
In my view we are getting ready for a "#Bitcoin panic".
Chances of all capital sloshing around in search for some gains will continue to smoothly flow into a absolutely hard capped commodity is very small.
If all capital starts to panic flow into that same hard capped commodity just to prevent the utter destruction caused by even more, let alone hyper, inflation, crazy things are a guarantee.

I proposed a NIP, but some people think kind 0 has "too much stuff" and that donation addresses should be a separate kind. I changed the nip to address that and then they still didn't want s*** coins, so it never went anywhere and so I never changed my original implementation.
