Milhares de pessoas foram as às ruas do centro de Belém para acompanhar o primeiro Arrastão do Arraial do Pavulagem, neste domingo (15).
O cortejo, que inicia com a concentração às 8h na praça da República, em frente ao Theatro da Paz, finalizou por volta de 11h30, na praça Waldemar Henrique, com o show da banda Arraial do Pavulagem.
Segundo a organização do evento, cerca de 35 mil pessoas participaram do arrastão, considerado patrimônio nacional da cultura e que ocorre há 38 anos.

Com chapéus de fita e no embalado da ginga do boi-bumbá azul, crianças, jovens, idosos e famílias inteiras coloriram e animaram o percurso, de um pouco mais de 1 km, que conta com pernaltas e outras alegorias que formam o Batalhão da Estrela.
Ainda haverá mais três arrastões em celebração à época junina: 22 e 29 de junho e no dia 6 de julho.

Rusland draagt opnieuw 1200 gesneuvelde militairen over aan Oekraïne
Rusland heeft voor de tweede keer in twee dagen tijd 1200 gesneuvelde Oekraïense militairen overgedragen aan Oekraïne. Dat meldt de Oekraïense minister van Defensie Oemerov aan persbureau Reuters.
Het is volgens Kyiv een van de grootste groepen Oekraïense oorlogsslachtoffers die is teruggekeerd sinds de Russische invasie in februari 2022. Russische staatsmedia melden dat Oekraïne geen Russische lichamen heeft vrijgegeven.
In totaal zou Rusland de afgelopen maand meer dan 4800 lichamen aan Oekraïne hebben overgedragen. Het uitwisselen van krijgsgevangenen en gesneuvelde militairen is onderdeel van de afspraken die beide landen vorige maand maakten in Istanbul.
Volgens die afspraken moeten Kyiv en Moskou 6000 lichamen, plus zieke, zwaargewonde en jonge krijgsgevangenen uitwisselen. Het is onduidelijk of en hoeveel gesneuvelde Russische militairen Oekraïne heeft overgedragen. Rusland heeft tot nu toe gemeld dat in totaal 27 Russische militairen zijn teruggekerd.

De Oekraïense minister Oemerov zegt dat nu een "belangrijke en verantwoordelijke fase" aanbreekt waarin de lichamen zullen worden geïdentifceerd. "Het is complex en gevoelig werk dat elk gezin de kans geeft op antwoorden", aldus de minister.
Tot nu toe hebben Rusland en Oekraïne sinds de afspraken in Turkije in elk geval drie keer krijgsgevangenen uitgewisseld. De landen hebben niet bekendgemaakt hoeveel gevangenen daarbij betrokken waren.

Maybe that’s what the meetings Trump had with the Saudi’s in early this year were really about. That and bitcoin becoming the world’s new neutral reserve currency? Trump was building a middle-east coalition that wouldn’t mind seeing Iran’s theocracy collapse? Thus paving the way for a new Breton-Woods and repricing of the energy markets into bitcoin?
