I'll admit the idea is fascinating. To spoof the whole thing to trick our enemies and the masses into living under fear of such powerful weapons. Would be biggest conspiracy ever imo, and there's something believable about it when you stop and think.

You can also disable trampoline in the GUI on desktop and Android, just uncheck "Use Trampoline" in the Settings.
