When it comes to choosing a partner, I hope to find a beautiful and intelligent woman. In terms of my career, I also aspire to have a high-paying, prestigious job that allows me to make a meaningful contribution to humanity. Whether in relationships or in work, what I truly seek is a partnership based on mutual respect, equal exchange, and complementary strengths.
However, if the other party approaches this relationship not with a spirit of mutual benefit and collaboration, but rather with a condescending attitude—as if granting favors to a servant—then despite my own vanity and desire for what they have, I would rather walk away than obtain it through flattery or begging. I understand that what they possess is valuable—but what I bring to the table is no less rare and precious.
My core belief is this: the world goes on just fine without any one of us. Even if both parties seem to hold something of great value, neither of us is truly indispensable.

Money doesn’t buy you freedom. That’s a very dangerous misconception.
If you are free in your mind, you’ll find a way to be free no matter what. If you’re delusional and run by slave programs, no amount of money can help you.
In fact, if you are delusional, more money will only make you more miserable.
It seems counterintuitive, because we assume money gives us freedom based on two things: rich people telling us that it does, and observing them. But those people are smart and competent — they’re free in their minds, and that’s what made them rich.
The real sequence is this: you realize you’re delusional and enslaved, you begin learning and progressing to become free, you build systems — and then you become rich. It’s not that you get money and become free. There can be no freedom without those steps.
How do I know? I got a lot of money while I was still delusional. I almost destroyed myself and lost it all. Then I went through the real process I just described.
I know several guys who inherited a lot of money and aren’t free — they’re even more enslaved now, chasing pleasure.
Money is a tool. It’s like a gun — give it to a competent, intelligent person, and they’ll use it for freedom. Give it to a fool, and chaos will follow.

even then, one i just made for a key/value index key codec only came out to 326 lines, and the benefit of it is that the type of index is clear, there is a function to create the variables for the index type, a function that makes an encoder, and a function that makes a decoder (difference being one sets the prefix, the other just makes an empty prefix to read in).
because the names are really clear and static checking highlights when i'm using the wrong one it makes mistakes harder to make.
dynamic typing doesn't give you this kind of compile time safety checks, one of the reasons why i don't like dynamic typing languages. the rustaceans like to use the word "safety" but i think really it's a category of "correctness" which i think is much more important than safety. a gun is an unsafe machine, but it has to be correct or it becomes even more unsafe.

my limit is around 600, due to cases where the code is very repetitive but creates an API that compile-time type checks for you. often these can be generated as well, using templates, but if the file doesn't pass my limit it's not worth the extra time.
one nice thing is now that go has generics, quite a few of the cases that required code generators are now handled automagically with generic type parameters. unfortunately they can't be used on methods, only functions, which breaks up the elegance of a nice type implementation. but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. i'm betting that eventually they will figure out a way to allow type parameters on methods. i think the thing is that they haven't incorporated generic parameters as a part of the interface function signature processing yet.
