Yes, more integrity for the media for sure, since the hash of the data can be checked against the file name to ensure they still match. Redundancy of the media is dependent on it being mirrored to other Blossom servers, though. Currently Amethyst doesn't support mirroring your uploads to multiple Blossom servers. I am hoping that will be coming in a future update, as other Nostr clients HAVE added that feature.

Blossom is a protocol, just like Nostr, but built for hosting media files instead of text notes.
Instead of those files having a traditional file name, the file name is a hash of its content. This means the same file can ve stored on more than one server and if the original server is down, it can easily be located on other servers, because the hash will be the same.
It also means that the file's content can be hashed and checked against the file name to ensure the data hasn't been changed since it was originally updated. No one can pull a fast one by replacing your photo from the Grand Canyon with a gif of Rick Astley.

The PCB Router You Wish You Had Made
The advent of cheap and accessible one-off PCB production has been one of the pivotal moments for electronic experimenters during the last couple of decades. Perhaps a few still etch their own boards, but many hobbiest were happy to put away their ferric chloride. There’s another way to make PCBs, though, which is to mill them. [Tom Nixon] has made a small CNC mill for that purpose, and it’s rather beautiful.
In operation it’s a conventional XYZ mechanism, with a belt drive for the X and Y and a lead screw for the Z axis. The frame is made from aluminium extrusion, and the incidental parts such as the belt tensioners are 3D printed. The write-up is very comprehensive, and takes the reader through all the stages of construction. The brains of the outfit is a Creality 3D printer controller, but he acknowledges that it’s not the best for the job.
It’s certainly not the first PCB router we’ve seen, but it may be one of the nicer ones. If you make a PCB this way, you might like to give it professional-looking solder mask with a laser.

It is limited, decentralized, and trust-minimized. And like any real language, it grows through use and adoption—not through institutional enforcement.
The irony is that many thinkers, like the speaker here, grieve the loss of coherence, but don’t see that a new consensus mechanism is already forming. To help visualize this, you can look at the Karpman Drama Triangle—a psychological model that maps the roles of Victim, Rescuer, and Persecutor in unhealthy relationship dynamics. These roles arise when awareness is fragmented and communication is distorted. When viewed through an energetic systems lens, this triangle becomes a tetrahedron. The base contains those three reactive roles, but the fourth point—hovering above—is *attachment*. The entire drama structure is held together by fear of disconnection.
When we shift to an evolved state of awareness, the tetrahedron flips. The new apex is *non-attachment*, and the base becomes a stable configuration of Creator, Challenger, and Coach—archetypes that represent resilience, responsibility, and clarity. The lines between them are communication channels. When the message drifts too far from the medium—when language becomes inflated, distorted, or gamed—we slide back into victimhood and entropic collapse.

Daniel Batten and others are showing how Bitcoin mining, when paired with methane mitigation or stranded renewables, actually reduces carbon emissions. It becomes a pioneer species for regenerative infrastructure. Projects like Gridless in Africa are using Bitcoin to electrify off-grid villages while monetizing excess energy. These are sovereign individuals forming circular economies—small, local nodes of coherence.
At the heart of this is how we define awareness. The speaker, like many others, is now searching for the spiritual truth of it. But if we look through systems thinking, we can see that awareness itself operates as a protocol—one that has been corrupted through centralization by the ego. I always thought it was a mistake to target Blue cities. They could have easily rounded up illegal aliens in Red cities and states with overwhelming support and cooperation and shown how much better life is without the welfare or criminal burden.
They chose a martyr in Abrego Garcia and now they are rioting in LA.
