In the UK, they have a monarch who’s titularly supposed to be head of state. But in reality it has become a ceremonial role. If the monarch decided suddenly to exercise their nominal power, they’d find it would quickly evaporate.

In my almost 3 weeks in the US, here's my unsolicited experience so far:
-Shooting guns are crazy fun, it was the first time my wife and I did so.
-You can find dirt cheap deals on clothes in a shop like Burlington.
-I'm surprised at how much decent quality things people throw out of their homes or sell at a garage sale.
-There is a huge amount of variety of food and drinks at stores but prices are at least twice as high than in Mexico.
-Traffic is insane between Atlanta, Nashville and Charlotte.
-Sometimes it feels like I never left Latin america, so many Latinos everywhere.
-Gasoline is cheaper in the US than in Mexico.
-There seems to be so much available work everywhere, especially for truck drivers.
-Middle income america and middle income mexico have huuge differences.
-People don't look at us funny when I mention we homeschool.

Why I started a Blog
I got sick of pretending things were fine.
Nothing radicalized me, I just started paying attention.
Every day, you’re told to smile while getting scanned, tracked, logged, sold. We lost the fun P2P internet we had in the 90’s and it became corporate. Terms and conditions as long as books. Apps you can’t just buy anymore, only monthly subscription fees while they suck every bit of personal data they can from you. Cameras on every block. Microphones in your pocket. Cell tower drops. Mass surveillance as the default and people still call it freedom.
Palantir, Chainalysis, freaking Google
I watched the creep happen. So did you. One update at a time. One convenience at a time. Until one day you realize your life isn’t yours anymore. It’s data on someone else’s server. You are a commodity packaged and sold.
So I started giving friendly tips to people on nostr. Then I started writing. I just wanted to say what no one around me was saying out loud. I wanted to bring back the cypherpunk spirit. I wanted to contribute because it was the right thing to do.
We all can see what is happening but few people seem to care. Fewer realize that there is anything they can do about it.
This blog is a punch to the nose to complacency. A middle finger to passive acceptance. A notebook for people who still believe in owning their mind, their files, their fate.
I’m not selling you privacy. I’m helping you claw it back.

Ok this feels like a trollish question, but I'm going to ask it just the same.
Why does the consensus here seem to believe Bitcoin will end war?
Bitcoin is great. It is good to have a truly hard currency not one constantly devalued by inflation and usury. I like it, don't get me wrong.
But wars were happening long before the federal reserve was a thing. Wars were happening long before any of the current nation states were things. War is, I believe, part of our nature.
We all need things to live what we believe is our best life. Food, water, land, whatever. No currency needs to exist for me to want something that is yours, and reach out to try and take it.
Did you grow up with siblings? Did you have a rival group in high school? Ever been in a bar fight? Have you had to competitively bid for work that you need for your business to survive? Then you know individually the feelings that, writ large, create war. Scarce resources beget incentives for nasty behavior.
War is stupid, terrible, and there is no good war. I hope the current wars end as quickly as possible. But I don't really understand how you think Bitcoin will fix this.

That's like asking why the general public doesn't swallow pills that some chemist whipped up in his basement lab, that has never been tested on human or animal subjects. It hasn't even been tested on the chemist, himself.
