I have to admit that the miracles keep coming and I'm absolutely grateful for them. This message is only for a few but it's my testimony never the less.
1. My cat was coughing up blood and I prayed that she would be healed and it looks like she is healed.
2. I was in a decent job that I could kind of listen to podcasts while working but the place was not so good and I worked around people who were always high on weed. I still liked my job but I was put into a situation where I got my feelings hurt and I could not respond in kind to the aggressor. It has happened three times at this job and I know the person was not physically equal to me and that the verbal abuse would only get worse.
I've worked construction for many years and talking trash is normal. In the military it was similar but you had the spirit of the corps where everyone was a maggot if you did your job right. The difference was that it was a woman 25 years younger than me who did not work with me in the field. She ran the office and she belittled me in front of two customers. She also was armed! It was not a good situation.
I left the job but I also admitted to the owner that I was wrong and that I had no heard feelings against anyone. I just knew that what was acceptable there was not acceptable to me. I don't have work done place where I was not respected as an adult. It sounds petty and it is. The Lord pushed me to take a risk and leave.
Today 10 days later I was offered another job that I turned down to take the above job. It will be totally different. Like many jobs it will not be easy but the banter will be subtle and professional. It's a sales job. It's also commission so I'll earn based on my work and not a fixed salary based on the status quo.
3. I'm going on 5 months absolutely sober from Alcohol, Tobacco, pornography, computer games, fictional literature and mind numbing entertainment. I was living a very ignorant life based on escape and as petulant as it sounds it definitely was real and I was caught in a terrible life of being drunk, alone and dying a hopeless death. For the record I regard basically everything as pornography because it's all meant to seduce your mind to the carnal pleasures which should only be given to your spouse!
To me the irony of the debauchery was that I had studied yoga, meditation and many spiritual pathways and scriptures. In those practices and studies I still had a desire to escape and I still was in conflict constantly. I tried to be holy and I was wholly miserable. It was nonsense and I kept pegging my heart to nonsense.
10 January 2025 while my wife was away on a trip I got very lost spiritually. I had been heading towards this for a long time. I got down on my knees and asked Jesus Christ to come back into my life after being Baptized in 1984. That's 41 years. I left the Church formally in 1986. At 16 I decided I was agnostic. I then studied satanism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism more, Judaism, Buddhism more more, Hare Krishna and then full circle back to Jesus Christ.
On that day my wife came home very sick and within 2 weeks she nearly died from an illness that severely dehydrated her, increased her blood pressure, headaches and other strange symptoms. I also grew sick. One night I had to call the ambulance to get her to the hospital. 3 days later we had to go again. I prayed and prayed for her recovery and she did recover. So did I.
During this time I threw out all of my Hare Krishna books, photos, Buddhist books, statues and all the demonic crap I surrounded myself with. I cleared my home of the cursed and abominable. It all went in the trash. We still have a statue that my wife likes and it's hers. I moved it to a not so prominent place in the house. I prayed about this and God has given me the opportunity to be patient.
The illness left my wife and all of her vital signs strengthened and she within 4 weeks was healthier than before. To this day, this evening and every morning I pray for her good health and to be able to do God's work. We also pray over every meal that we share together and I do so for every meal on my own.
4. In faith I prayed that I could find good content for Christian teaching and education. Within a day my YouTube algorithm began feeding me great Christian movies, music and biblical education. I learned to use my Brave browser to avoid advertisement. When I watch on television YouTube I still get pig pharma ads and I just watch the timer, mute and skip when I can.
When I get really antsy I am able to sit down and read my Bible, study Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, Russian and English translations. I listen to the Bible instead of bullshit news or lame podcasts. (I'm still a producer for No Agenda so that's my secular listen).
5. Humility is important. It's my forever lesson. I can't expect others to be humble but I can expect that is the best thing for me. I've had a careless pornography of whoring after special ideas for way too long. There are few that have known me for a long time who take me seriously. In the small group I'm retarded (I meant regarded but retarded seems appropriate) as an exsentric. People like me but they can't take too much of me because I don't listen and I'm a know-it-all.
Maybe you've seen a thread or two of this behavior?
6. I'm overwhelmed with joy now. I promise my last coffee of 1 liter for the whole day, my last sip was at 1800 and now it's 2242. But I acknowledge this jury and I relinquish my time to the committee.
7. I hope that I can be of some good use to this place. I hope that my erudition finds is way into useful eyes and ears and makes it's way to loving hearts. I pray that my testimony may find a tender heart to strengthen. I'm very grateful for those who have encouraged me and now I'm grateful that I'm being encouraged beyond my sycophant dreams.
It's perhaps embarrassing even to read this but in reality I've written some horrible public things. I'm finding that I'm being pushed to continue and that I wanted to destroy and edit my imperfections but now I am inspired to build on what solid foundation I have kept in tact and let the embellishments blow away. Let the fruit of the grafted vine mature.
I have learned the to minister is to serve. I have learned that to serve is a privilege. I have learned that I am to give myself over in service and only in this am I to find joy!
I can't believe it. There is no fiduciary reward other than that I can work hard and I will reap the rewards of my labor as we all will, but that I even further will find that all of the fantasy role playing is nothing compared to the role I play being myself serving God. So ordinary and so blessed at the same time. So very boring and ordinary as I pack my my spiritual bags for my journey with God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit into the eternal future well beyond any dating mechanisms of this day!
8. Prayer is what I do. In the morning I get out of bed, on my knees and I pray out loud but quietly so as not to disturb my wife. For meals we pray together holding hands. I do so on my own even for candy, snacks and meals by myself.
During the day driving, working, walking or whatever I pray when I see someone I like or dislike. I pray for them to be blessed like me. I pray for clarity, wisdom, patience, knowledge and anything else that is within God's will as outlined in the Bible.
At night before I go to sleep I get down on my knees by myself and I pray a little louder unless my wife is near and then I'm speaking but very quietly. Sometimes she will join me across on the other side of the bed.
So instead of escaping by porn, alcohol, fantasy, whoring after other gods, meditation, chanting, asanas or other nonsense I just do what needs to be done and I pray when I don't know what to do with myself. It's just faith and it's a faith based upon 6000 years of testimony that I'm continuing with today.

Yes, you are correct that the current implementation of a single DO can present itself as a bottleneck since it’s single-threaded and caps at 1000 messages per second, but with queuing. However, I am currently working towards a multi-regional and/or a Pub/Sub coordinated integration that should help mitigate that. We’ll see how we go. The alternative would be to strip out the DO like before and not have stateful websocket. It’s been a fun project getting to trial various different methods and edge cloud tech.

I have shipped *a lot* of features over the last few months to Nostr.land, while many other paid relays are stagnant.
I am comparing relays based off of my experience operating strfry at scale, and other applications that I managed myself using MongoDB. Compared to current NFDB, it is simply not possible to get the same performance or flexibility with other solutions.

С 2014 периодически я пытаюсь пройти Alien Isolation. Сначала на картофельном ноутбуке, затем на PS4, снова на ноутбуке, но каждый раз застреваю примерно на одном и том же месте, а там уже куда-то ехать надо, переезжать, и не до игр становилось.
И вот сейчас, спустя больше десяти лет попыток, я решительно настроен добить эту игру. Спасибо оптимизации и облачному сохранению - поиграл на десктопе, собрался спать, взял стим дек и продолжил с того же места.
В 2014 этот пенисоголовый хвостатый ксеноморф пугал похлеще поехавших ребят из Outlast, и я решил, что в моём возрасте можно сделать некоторую скидку - играю нагло на минимальной сложности и заартманив себе топлива для огнемёта. Но сейчас я дошёл до момента, где всё оружие конфискуется, и надо продолжать только с кустарными ловушками.

idk, it just feels gay as fuck if i talk about how fun go is and no one understands the feeling of realizing how fucked you are or how powerful you feel when you dominate your foe, knowing no move they make can save themselves
but if i bitch about things, it's like... everyone knows how shitty karens are and that's easy to connect with, even if it's tiring to hear
everyone knows how it sucks to get screamed at, but not everyone knows the joy of art, and although i can always enjoy anime and stuff by myself, it's the sharing the joy that i can't enjoy just by myself by definition
at the same time, i feel like i might've become somewhat better at talking positively...? kinda just by observing how others talk and how i feel connected, and maybe i should try again so i stop relying on suffering as a crutch for human connection
