There are app tokens and API tokens. Google gives your app a specific JSON that ships inside your app to activate push for a valid sequence of tokens. Then there is a token from the device+app that you need to register with a pubkey in your server to know which device+app wants notif from which keys. Your service will have a copy of the API key for your app to tell FCM you are an authorized pusher. Your server then needs to listen to notifications from those keys and send each key to each token. When the notification reaches the phone, the OS knows which app it should send it to.
So, in theory, the server needs the firebase keys of all apps it is pushing notifications for.

Here's another fun f-u from apple. they still don't allow us to silence DMs from muted people when decrypting push notifications. This is an entitlement you have to get from them which we have asked dozens of times and they refuse to give to us without any explanation.
Right now we can do this on our push notification server for old style DMs: check the user's mute list and not send the push notification if the user has muted the person.
We won't be able to do this with more secure DMs like nip17. We can't see who's sending the DM until we decrypt it on device. Without the entitlement we have to show the notification when we receive it, so spammers can spam notifications at you with new style DMs. Thanks apple.

Dozens of rioters stacked flammable debris on the building, which is next to an elementary school, and started a fire. These methods of attacks were committed regularly in 2020 during the Portland BLM-Antifa riots.
When officers attempted to arrest two arson suspects, Geovanna A. Carrasco (b. February 1998) allegedly rushed in, punched and tried to choke an officer so that her comrades could escape. Carrasco, who studied creative writing at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, works at the Pockets Full of Posies pre-school, according to her Linkedin.
